One of the most prolific writers I know lives in a class A motorhome. She works as both a freelance writer, and a novel writer. At the moment she is in California, but she spent most of last year in the middle US states. They are not retired. Her husband has a job that lets them travel, and she works anywhere there is satalite connection.

I had a lot of friends who lived in motorhomes while showing dogs. I use to show Chinese Cresteds. Some of the professional handlers spent more than 8 months of the year on the 'circuit.' The point is - don't feel you are limited. You can work anywhere, live anywhere, and explore the world.
